What is (Art) Research?

Tuesday 6 November 2018, 15.00 – 17.00

Art research entails art practice. Art research is both foundational to the activities of the art school, but it is also an aspect of the art school that can productively and critically connect art practice to other knowledge fields. For What is Art Research we begin to look at how artists undertake research inside and outside the art school and we will consider some different approaches and conceptions.

Introduced by Katrine Hjelde, Graduate Diploma Course Leader and Elizabeth Peebles Stage 3 Coordinator. With Markus Eisenmann, Mary Evans and more.
